This rooftop solar project for Saiham Group is currently being implemented, with an expected capacity of 325 kW. It will provide renewable energy to Saiham’s textile operations, reducing costs and boosting sustainability.

Joules- Saiham knit Composite Ltd. (Saiham Group) is a solar installation designed as an Opex Model. The plant is located in Habiganj on the rooftop of Saiham. It has the power generation capacity of 2 kW. Consequently, contributing to the environment by significant reduction in the company’s carbon footprint and supporting government’s efforts to combat climate change.

Joules-Saiham Solar Power Plant uses the top efficient Solar PV technology of Module – JA Solar 545 Wp Bifacial and inverter SMA STP110. The rooftop solar installation by JPL has impacts lower electricity bills and energy costs, which improves operational efficiency and profitability for Saiham.  It also provides energy support during load shedding and exports to national grid through net metering.
