About Us

Joules Power Limited (JPL) is a privately owned energy company operating in the power sector of Bangladesh. We are the country’s first solar IPP commencing Technaf Solartech Energy Limited (TSEL) which completed it’s implementation within the framework. We are the pioneer and leading renewable energy producers in the country and actively working to make a significant contribution to the government’s sustainable development goal to produce 10% of its energy mix from renewable sources.

Technaf Solartech Energy Limited (TSEL)

Technaf Solartech Energy Limited (TSEL) is a 20 MW national grid-tied solar power plant located on the shores of the Naf River in Teknaf on 116 acres of land. TSEL is a solar IPP that is a majority owned subsidiary of Joules Power Limited. Having successfully started commercial operations on September 15, 2018 it is the second solar IPP plant in Bangladesh.

Muktagacha Solartech Energy Limited

Muktagacha Solartech Energy Limited (MSEL) is a 20MW project which is being established on 75acres of uncultivated, barren land in Nimuria, Muktagacha. MSEL will play a leading role in solving the electricity issues in Mymensingh and elevating a better living standard for the people.

Commercial & Industrial Solar Projects

Joules Power Limited’s commercia & industrial solar projects provide businesses with clean, renewable energy through the OPEX model, eliminating the need for upfront capital investment. By harnessing solar power, commercial enterprises can significantly reduce energy costs while aligning with sustainable practices, making it easier to meet environmental goals and enhance operational efficiency.

Independent Power Producers Project (IPPs)

Our IPP projects focus on powering large-scale operations with renewable energy solutions tailored to the demands of manufacturing and heavy industries.
